Hair Color Formula
Natural level: 6
To achieve Jennifer Lawrence’s hair color, first apply the following hair color formula (be sure to take your client’s natural, regrowth, and/or artificially pigmented hair into consideration before formulating).
1) Base to Ends:
6TO (1oz)
5GD (1oz)
Mix with: 20 volume developer (2oz)
2) Midlength (Baylayge/Partial Highlight):
1 Scoop of White Lightening Powder with 2 Scoops of 20 volume activator.
Process: 15 minutes under dryer (104-106°F), 15 minutes cool down
*Watch your highlights, if they begin to lift to high of a level, then spray Revamp treatment on foils for added protein and to slow the lifting process.
Rinse: Add small amount of water to hair, and emulsify hair for 4-5 minutes. Do not worry about your Highlights, this step will also act as a toner, giving a well-blended look. During this step you should be produce a nice lather from emulsifying the hair color. It is necessary to emulsify the hair so that the oils penetrate the cuticle, giving the hair immense shine. Rinse color out of hair until water runs clear. Shampoo and condition.
