Red, pink, brunette, blonde. Name it and Emma Roberts has done it all. So, it’s not surprise that whenever she changes her color, her fans will follow. Here’s how you can re-create the new Emma Roberts hair color and style using Original & Mineral.
Color
For Emma’s color, start with a full head of painting with the O&M Paint Powder Clay Lightener and O&M CØR.color 40 vol Activator. Keep it close to the root, but not on scalp to add depth or a dark smudge root later. Paint most of the hair to give a blonde bombshell feel. Process for up to 50 minutes to achieve maximum lift. Paint Powder contains aloe vera juice and kaolin clay so the product will not dry out and give more lift time.
Use O&M Original Detox Shampoo and condition before adding a root and mid length tone.
Use the O&M CØR.color Silver Toner and O&M CØR.color Charcoal Toner with O&M CØR.color 3.5 vol Activator to smudge the root, and O&M CØR.color 10.8 Lightest Pearl Blonde with O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator through ends to clean out some warmth while still leaving a soft natural look to hair (warm but not yellow).
Style
Spray the hair liberally with O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray, then remove 80% of the moisture using your hands. Next, spray the hair with O&M Atonic Hair Thickening Spritz for heat protection and a little O&M Project Sukuroi Gold Smoothing Hair Balm to smooth the hair. Use the O&M Volume Curve Hair Brush to flatten hair at the roots and add bend and wave through ends. Large is ideal as it will give wave not curl. After all hair is dried, add a 1/2 dime-size piece of O&M Project Sukuroi Gold Smoothing Hair Balm to the bangs and top layer, then flat iron to smooth and lock out moisture and fight frizz. You can use a wide-tooth comb to soften waves and finish hair.
