Fashion designer and author Lauren Conrad has revealed a new hair color and we’re absolutely smitten. Here’s how you can re-create the new Lauren Conrad hair color and hair style using Original & Mineral.

Color

For this color, paint the hair with O&M Paint Powder Clay Lightener and O&M CØR.color 40 vol Activator to lighten ends up to look like a solid bleach. Then paint up to ends for a blended level 7 to 8. Process for a full 50 minutes. Use O&M Original Detox Shampoo to shampoo then condition with O&M Fine Intellect Conditioner before rinsing and applying toner. For the roots, use 1/2 O&M CØR.color 4.0 Brown for the first 2 inches, 1/2 O&M CØR.color 5.8 Light Pearl Brown and O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator for the next 2 inches. Blend through 1/2 O&M CØR.color 6.8 Dark Pearl Blonde and O&M CØR.color 7.8 Pearl Blonde with 2 parts O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator. Then for the ends, use 1/2 O&M CØR.color 10.8 Lightest Pearl Blonde and 1/2 O&M CØR.color 10.1 Lightest Ash Blonde with 2 parts O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator. Process for 20 minutes at the basin. Lightly blend roots through mid-lengths to have a seamless color blend. Shampoo and treat with O&M Seven Day Miracle Moisture Masque to add a shot of moisture to hair.

Style

To create this style, start with spraying damp hair with O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray. Remove some moisture then apply 4 dime-size scoops of O&M Project Sukuroi Gold Smoothing Hair Balm. Comb through then using a medium-size natural bristle round brush, smooth hair from roots to ends. Work hair from a side part and create minimum root lift. Roll ends with brush until they cool to keep them stick straight. When 100% dry, apply 2 dime-size scoops of Project Sukuroi to dry hair. Use a flat iron to set style, lock in moisture and lock out humidity. The Sukuroi will also deposit keratin into hair, strengthening and reconditioning strands.
