Color

Start with a full head of foils using O&M Ammonia Free Keratin Powder Lightener and O&M CØR.color 20 vol Activator. This will allow you to do both fine and medium weaves throughout the hair. Between the foils, paint the roots and bring some color through the mids to ends to create more texture. For this, use 1/2 O&M CØR.color 6.0 Dark Blonde + 1/2 O&M CØR.color 6.13 Cool Beige Dark Blonde with O&M CØR.color 20 vol Activator. This will give 100% grey coverage and create a cool beige blonde base tone. Process and shampoo with O&M Original Detox Shampoo, conditioned with O&M Fine Intellect Conditioner before toning. Next, use COR 1/2 O&M CØR.color 7.13 Cool Beige Blonde + 1/2 O&M CØR.color 20 vol Activator with 2 parts O&M CØR.color 5 vol Activator for 20 minutes. The Clear will lighten the level and impart more shine. Treat hair with O&M The Power Base Protein Treatment for strength and nourishment.

Style

Start with towel dried hair and layer O&M Know Knott Detangling Spray and O&M Atonic Hair Thickening Spritz. Dry until 80% of the moisture is out. Then, place O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray through the hair with the O&M Volume Curve Hair Brush to smooth the hair out, away from the face and create a loose curl through the ends. Roll hair away from crown and face to create lift and volume. Once 100% dry, shake hair and spray with O&M Original Queenie Firm Hold Hair Spray to create volume and texture. Then, do a low side part and pull hair to nape. Back comb the hair around forehead to create lift and an emphasis on the wave. Using the end of a tail comb, pull the hair slightly to soften the hair. Twist hair into a bun at the back and secure with pins. Spray with O&M Original Queenie Firm Hold Hair Spray to set.

Color

Use O&M CØR.color 5.8 Light Pearl Brown + 1/2 O&M CØR.color 3.0 Dark Brown and O&M CØR.color 10 vol Activator as your base tint. While this is on, paint sections of hair mid-lengths to ends with O&M Paint Powder Clay Lightener and O&M CØR.color 30 vol Activator. You can wrap in plastic to avoid bleeding into tint. Remember to smudge Paint Powder and tint together slightly to avoid any demarcation lines. Process, shampoo and condition then apply a toner of O&M CØR.color 9.0 Very Light Blonde with the new O&M CØR.color 3.5 vol Activator in 2 parts Activator 1 part Color. The 9.0 will seal the hair, add gloss and help to give a more neutral beige tone to painted hair. Treat the hair with O&M Seven Day Miracle Moisture Masque to nourish and soften after color treatments.

Style

This modern take on the quiff was created by styling the hair while damp. Section the sides out and twist top hair up with clips. Onto sides, mix O&M C-Paste Texture Cream and O&M K-Gravel Texture Clay for hold and gloss. Comb back and with a low heat set dryer, comb the hair into shape as the dryer sets the look – a wet wave look. Secure the hair with a band through the back. Spray the hair with O&M Atonic Hair Thickening Spritz and smooth out to form soft curls. Layer with O&M Rootalicious Root Lift Spray and continue to dry and set curls. Place a mix of O&M Style Guru Styling Cream and O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum onto finger tips and work through the ends to define the shape of curl and give a wet/shiny look. Color

Highlight top section with a fine weave in a teardrop shape. Color the surrounding hair with Oway Hcolor 2.0 Brown and a bit of Oway Hcolor 1.8 Blue Black. Color

Apply Oway Hcolor 2.0 Brown to the regrowth and melt through the midshaft.  Then, color the ends with 2 parts Oway Hcolor 4.0 Natural Brown and 1 part Oway Hcolor 5.4 Coppery Light Brown to create some warmth on the midshaft and ends.

Style
