Kate Mara Hair Color Formula

To achieve Kate Mara’s hair color, first carefully identify your client’s current level, percentage of grey and hair condition. Note: You may need to alter this formula slightly for your specific client. Please call 888-213-4744 for free formulation assistance.

Natural level: 6

Roots/Mids Formula: 5.34 + 20vol Hcatalyst (mixed 1:1)
Mids/Ends Lightener Formula: Hbleach Butter Cream Lightener + 20vol Hcatalyst (mixed 1:2)

During application make sure you’re melting together the mids with root and ends. Kate’s hair has a subtle graduation of color for a more natural ombre effect.

After processing, rinse and shampoo with Organic Way Hbalance Shampoo. If you decide your client needs a toner, follow up with Hmilk No Stress (perfect for prepping hair in between technical services) and apply this toner color formula.

Toner Formula(optional): 7.32 + 9.31 with 9vol Htone (mixed in 1 to 1.5 ratio). Visually watch toner until desired results.

Rinse and shampoo with Organic Way Hbalance Shampoo. Follow up with Organic Way Hbalance Mask (this back bar color tool will seal and close the cuticle and add intense shine). Leave on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and style.
